What You Need to Know
Are you gathering your group's information before registration opens and want to be ready on February 1? Or are you just interested in how our registration process will work this year?
What You Need to Know to About the Online Registration Process
- For each attendee, you'll need the full name, phone, email address, age (if a teen), emergency contact person's name and number, and names/ages of any children 12 and under attending with them. T-shirt sizes and types, if ordering t-shirts too.
- One person will register an entire family or group.
- All registrations will be done online. There is no paper form to submit.
- If you have a group of 10 or more registering at once, you'll qualify for the group discount of $5 off each ticket. The tickets must be purchased together to get the group rate. If you purchase 10 at the group rate and then wish to add more later, the full price will apply to the later tickets unless your second order is also for 10 or more tickets.
- Discounts may not be combined. For example, volunteers who qualify for a half-price ticket cannot get an additional $5 off for being part of a group. The group discount only applies to 10 or more full price tickets.
- Payment can be made online with a credit card (a small processing fee applies) or by mailing in a check or money order to Living Earth after your online registration form is submitted.
- You can pay with one check for the group or put several checks from different people in the same envelope, as long as the payment is made at one time. Sending in several checks independently is just too big of a headache for us to manage and will invalidate your group rate if you qualified for one and your party will be charged a $50 "inconvenience fee" upon entrance to the festival. Or you will all be assigned latrine cleaning duty depending on the mood of the gate attendant. Just kidding about that. But not kidding about the inconvenience fee.
- If registering for more than one person, the e-ticket information will be sent only to the person who registered the group or family. That person will need to forward the e-tickets to those in their party.
- Registered event attendees won't actually need a printed e-ticket to enter, just their valid driver's license or state I.D.. The e-ticket you'll get is more like a receipt and for your records. We're totally digital and paperless! But if you're a little OCD, don't trust computers, or just feel better having a piece of paper in your hand, you can bring it with you if you like.
- Each adult will need to sign a personal liability waiver when showing their ID at the gate. It'll be just a signature and date, not a whole form to fill out. A copy of this waiver will be posted soon on the Beltania website.
- Children 12 and under are free with an attending parent or guardian. No childcare is provided although we will offer many family-friendly and children's activities. Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy before we ask you to take them home.
Group Discounts
Pre-Registration only. Submit registration forms and payment together with a group of 10 or more paying adults or teens, and take $5 off each pass! So, if your group pre-registers by February 28, it’s only $35 each; or by March 31, it’s $45 each.
Why aren't there any single-day passes?
Beltania is a festival designed to be experienced as a multi-day event. Being there together over several days helps to create a sense of community and build connections, which is something Beltania is known for. Having lots of cars driving around all the time, with people coming and going, gives more of a spectator feel than what we are trying to achieve. In addition to being a music fest it is also a spiritual retreat; and having lots of people stopping by to just check us out for a few hours doesn't really fit with the spiritual retreat concept.
It's also a logistical issue; as a volunteer-run organization, we simply don't have the staff or resources to handle the paperwork and accounting issues that come with different types of passes for different days. Last year's gate sales and day passes presented a logistical nightmare for our volunteers, and we promised not to do that to them again. If we were to have day passes, we'd need another 20 volunteers willing to give up their festival experience to staff the gate, attend parking lots, and security to enforce ticket expiration times all day Saturday and Sunday too. Lastly, in last year's guest satisfaction survey, over 90% of respondents said they preferred to come for the entire festival.
That being said, anyone with an admission pass can stay as long or short a time as they wish.
